The Chop Shop Australia is looking for a motivated, hardworking first year willing to take on a vehicle building apprenticeship.
Essential Criteria:
Current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
Australia resident
Live within 45mins of the shop
Mathematically minded
Computer literate
Enthusiastic
Willing to learn
YES this job entails having to empty bins and sweep the floor; this is part of the role as an apprentice! This role also entails you to gain extensive knowledge and experience in the custom automotive industry. Additionally you will be regularly rewarded by attending some of the best automotive shows in the country all expenses paid.
Desired Criteria:
Experience in welding and fabrication
Welding tickets and certificates
Experience in working in a metal or fabrication shop
Sound knowledge of mini trucks, customs and specialized vehicles.
Salary:
You will be paid in accordance with the following Department of Fair Trading Award Wages.
